JOY Gallery - Friday 13th Show
We played a show with Jaden Padilla and The Turnouts at JOY Gallery in SF this past Friday, and it was a blast! We debuted two new songs and, for the first time, we filled an entire set with Altitudes originals.

Jaden Padilla is a musician and student at San Francisco State University. He writes and records all his music and teaches the songs to his friends who perform with him. I first saw Jaden Padilla perform at a free concert at Music City and I was immediately impressed with the band's bedroom rock vibe. The venue was completely packed and everyone -- EVERYONE -- was dancing. So when Altitudes got the invite to play with Jaden, we immediately said yes! Oh, and don’t ask me about the green baby.

Jaden Padilla's music is available on all streaming services. Spotify link! :)
My personal favorite is still his music video for GURL.
The Turnouts are an incredibly-talented Berkeley-based alternative rock band. They have three guitars, one of whom is the lead-singer! I had a blast dancing along to their set, which is best described as reverb-heavy, 50s-inspired rock. I say 50s-inspired because the songs have crooning vocals, 6/8 ballad feels, and it made me feel nostalgic for a time I never lived in! Oh and their pedal boards, holy crap!

Check out The Turnouts on all streaming services. They released their self-titled album this June and it is sick! Spotify link!
